Title: Sppedline Models RNLI Hull

Hi All,

I purchased this hull a few years ago and never got round to doing anything with it.  Now being in the position to look to build, I see that Speedline Models are no longer around ?  If not, I could look at scratch building it but maybe out of my skills area for my first build.  Is there anywhere you can purchase the parts from now for scratch or the original Speedline Model parts ?  I have attached a picture for size.  The red ball holding up the hull is tennis ball size. Building a speedline kit as a first build is a big jump.
Personally I would say build something simpler like a modelslipway kit.


There has been rumours that speedline maybe sold to a new owner soon-ish.


My suggestion would be build a simpler boat build your skills and then perhaps
By that time speedline maybe available again.

Thank you for the reply.  Yes I agree I think it is a big jump for a first build.  It was a bit of the spur of the moment decision when I purchased it.  I think I will sell it on to fund another project. I don't think I can sell on here as I am a new member, so will put on eBay.  Thanks for your help.
