Hello all, I am a new member of Model Boats Mayhem. I was introduced to your site on Saturday when I visited Ron Deans at Deans Marine. The reception from Ron and his wife was truly excellent and bodes well for my first sortie into RC model building. Over the past few years I have build a few static model including the Cutty Sark (Billings kit) and a scratch dockyard type model of HMS Victory. This was from plans I bought through the National Maritime Museum.
My project now is to build PS Waverley, being a vessel with which I have past connections. I was seeking Ron's advise re the RC needed and I would be very pleased to hear from anyone with advise particularly on building and mounting of the feathering paddle wheels.
I look forward to receiving some useful advice.
Regards,
Stan.

Thank you Martin. I am already part way through building my first wheel in 2mm brass.
