Hi,
I have finally found a place in the UK that sells Norfolk Wherry hulls, I live in Australia.
Trying to get information from the seller is slow at best.
I sent an email mentioning MBM asking if they made the hull. Answer yes
Second email I sent was about the size. A few days later I got the size.
Third email I sent was about the cost and postage. Reply came back with the price but no postage.
Some time went by and an email arrived asking if I was still interested. Replied yes but what is the postage
Fifth email came with the postage.
Another email arrived asking if I was still interested and the hull would be sent as soon as payment is sent.
Am I game enough to email back asking how do I pay?
Do I forget the whole deal and try to find the hull elsewhere?
Regards

They have answered your questions.
Why not ask about all of that in your first email, or did you.
Who is the seller.
I agree they could have thought ahead and given you the info but did you ask.

Lovely spot Port Macquarie !!!

Might be prudent to search the seller - the suspicious part of me is thinking they are researching the hull and the costs you asked about, it maybe they are not actually in possession of a hull and can make one - but they are trying to ascertain whether its worth doing or know where to get one from.

From your comments, there are certainly some communication issues :o
There is little point in Name + Shame, as our WEB owner Martin cannot accept one sided and unfounded arguments
If you believe you are correct, why trust that supplier after the electronic transfer of your hard earner $ occurs <*<
Only one of my many small value overseas e-purchases [UK, Germany, France, Japan, China] ever deteriorated ...I think the manufacturer decided to cook & eat Garlic Snails + consumed red wine from Bordeaux instead of answering his e-mails
I believe this supplier considers himself to be above, beyond and not answerable to such mere mortals as we members ....enough said

Hi all,
As I usually do when I plan to buy is to ask all those questions and up till now the shops concerned quote a price and postage along with the information on the product.
Postage to this part of Australia is expensive so I like to know as soon as possible.
I am not going to name or shame but adding everything up I might try another type of boat.

Don't forget that many of these companies are 'sole traders' .... they are not Amazon.... so sometimes we do have to cut them some slack....
rickles23 - PM me the traders name and I'll see if I can help or know anything. :-)

perhaps they are from Norfolk, the pace of life around there is kind of slow

It would be good to find another customer to see if they are satisfied.

Is there any way of paying, with insurance?
Do they accept credit card payments? I am not sure of the situation, but I think some CC used to have built in insurance for purchases.
