Title: Resolutions!
Post by: dreadnought72 on December 31, 2019, 09:36:22 pm
One of the best things I did in 2019 was to complete a commission.

There's a downside to this, of course. I posted the boat off in March or so, and for nine months I've had this clinker-sailing-dinghy-shaped-hole in my shed. So, without further ado, I hereby resolve I will be making one (or two!) for me, this Spring.

Any boat-related resolutions from others?!

My New Year resolution is to not make any resolutions, as I invariably don't keep them {-)

Happy New Year to all but especially my thoughts are with Australia and I pray for a miracle change of weather for 2020

My new resolutions is to get the two projects I’ve been asked to build done, thought I’d get the first one done over the three weeks I’ve had off but alas my Christmas Day post at 0845am was premature in its greatness- four hours later I was suffering from flu like symptoms and it’s taken the last week to get over it!
My proper resolution is to get posted to Cosford to train all the future technicians as I’m not enthralled with my current posting on Hercs.
I also want to finish the repair work of the MG Magnette restoration so I can enjoy the rebuild.
And of course finish off the HMS Invincible before it enters its fourth year of build... ok2

Not quite so happy here at the moment ........ >>:-(

Latest message just now from second Daughter 10 minutes ago .....just South of Nowra on the Eastern seaboard of NSW.....she has been evacuated  from her home......with Husband, kids & pets ..thankfully all OK

Their home is in a small Hamlet just by the water in an arm of Georges Basin..........this coming Saturday 4th January is the latest predicted catastrophic fire day

"thanks dad we are going to stay on a hotel. Jai is helping people on his boat bringing them here from Sussex and taking ice and water across atm"
