Title: Looking after your models during the bad weather
Post by: Stan on February 10, 2020, 09:05:16 am
HI Guys my models are stored in a very nice shed but this right under a large tree. So with permission from the boss they were all moved in to the house until things calm down.

Have to agree it was a good idea  :-))
If I had to do the same with all my models it would take up less than 4ft x 2ft  :embarrassed:

I do not like having all my "eggs" in one basket.
During our recent bushfire crises I sent one of my boats to our sons house, moved another from the shed into the house and sent some of our "precious" items into storage since our daughter was redecorating.
Other things like photos were boxed up ready to go in the car if there was a fire in the area.
What I cannot understand is people that loose everything.   Self storage is pretty cheap for a month or so even if one cannot send items to safer locations.

p.s. Nice to see 'Tobruk' I have 'Dorina'
