So pleased to finish my first boat and a steam one at that. I’m not a perfectionist and it’s probably worse than any other Borkum you can find on the internet but it’s mine and it works. Thanks to members on here for the tips notably Richard and Stan and advice from Martin Baylis on how to get the things working in the first place.

200 % success :-)) : beautiful + visible steam plant + reasonable size + a whistle = the perfect model boat to my opinion.
I can't wait to hear her on a pond, as soon as you are allowed to navigate of course...

...and what a splendid view O0 .......I do like the metal bands on the wine barrels, but the item of interest is the gas valve component just before the burner
