Title: Speed Boat Brushed Motor 7.2v
Post by: Gardener on March 25, 2020, 11:54:46 am
What could anyone recommend as a brushed motor for a 2ft long speed boat to give it some speed running on 7.2v battery?
Thanks
Dave

A 'standard' 540 motor should do it:

Sorry, missed the end of the quote.
It needs to be a 540 intended to run on the supplied voltage at or near its rated voltage.  I would think that the 540-1 would give anaemic performance, the aeronaut linked to would be a bit better, but the choice one is the graupner, sadly "unavailable" from Cornwall.
