Give us an hour or two (I’ll be finishing work soon) and I’ll see what I’ve got in my RAF Marine Craft Directories on the RTTLs.

Hi there, this link should take you to a build for an RTTL - this was done a good few year ago.   Sadly though 90% of the pictures disappeared when Mayhem crashed and melted down.   But there is a drawing that may help you - its of the internals of the bridge - and its still on the build.   Also, there is the photograph which Christian Shepherd put on (MTB Hulls) of the wedge that is at the stern of these vessels.

Hi again

John did a fantastic model and his thread is worth reading through for advice.

Unfortunately the two copies of RAF Marine Craft Directories I have in my barrack block do not show any pictures of the upper conning position although I do have some pictures of a cutaway and a long shot of some early RTTLs but the conning position is too far away to see any detail. I’ve got some more information and pictures at home which I will be going tomorrow night so I’ll have a look through them for you.

Don't you get decent possibilities from "The Sea Shall Not Have Them"?
