This "off sales from the forum" is hideously difficult to find anything!!

...I'd have the Conserver model in a heartbeat but alas as usual pick-up only so I worked out it is almost £200 in diesel alone nevermind food, bed and water down and up.  I'll continue to look for one in reasonable reach if folk won't ship but I know well models for sale always circulate in the same areas.  Compared to one of my last hobbies I don't understand this:  everything moved OK between Japan, Australia and Canada and some places inbetween asnd distance was never a problem.

They look like very good models and very good prices -good luck with them!

It's maybe because model boats are quite fragile when assembled, aerials, hand rails, and all sorts of similar bits and pieces are easily broken off when mis-handled by the carriers, as they surely will be :(

And they won't be able to see how fragile the boat is when it's packed in a box.

...Hi Carl, thanks sorry I'm up in Inverness so even half way is a bit of a mission LoL.  Actually I just had several unexpected big bills so my pocket money is out the window for next month or so.  There are some good couriers around though if you're still needing to shift things, I used to use Paisley Freight -everything I sent was well boxed but lots of things I got through them was just merely wrapped in domestic cling film -and never had a scratch on anything.  Not sure if that opens up the envelope for you.

Deans Marine 56 1/2" HMS Kent glass fibre hull with plans and build file, two motors, two prop shafts, two props, 2 couplings, one scale rudder, one larger rudder, bag of aluminium blanks for gun barrels, two turrets, three funnels and hatch covers etc. A good start for this great model. I bought this earlier on this year but have decided to move away from model boats. The total cost for what you see here is £254.55. I am looking for £200  ovno due to large size pick up prefered  from Habrough NE. Lincs.

Title: Steam boiler controller
Post by: Dainesh on June 14, 2022, 03:51:49 pm
Dear Gents,

Do you have Cheddar ABC?
Do you have problems with the sight glass sensor?

Denes Design has a relyable and robust gauge sensor which is able to cope with the water bouncing (when the water is going up and down in the sight glass and trigger the water servo) issue too.

Please find a video about it here:

....you know....[phone us to unlock your PC]....[I was attempting to enlarge & view the image of the Westbury? paddle engine

My PC techo taught me to use the following

Ctrl+Alt+Del
select File manager
This will bring up the File Manager listing
Delete the app that is running, it will be the second from the top of the list....
In my case, the rouge app that was infected was running in or under Chrome app

Ian...the link worked all OK without issue or warning ......just until I clicked on the image of the Westbury inclined? twin engine

I was browsing the site for maybe a minute without issue, however I understand an embedded catch that was not caught by Malwarebytes caused the lockup

[these words 'embedded catch' from my PC techo from a similar scenario.... when he taught me the trick

Both of my PC's have Malwarebytes and Norton 360....the Malware will sometimes alert me to a questionable WEB site  [one that doesn't have a recognised safe signature]

Problem I've found with the site is on first opening, the first view of any picture doesn't allow 'Next' function to work on a multi picture posting. ONLY a problem on first start up of site. I do a back click on first pic and everything OK.
