Title: Colwyn Bay MBC - Lock down starts again on 28th December 2020
Post by: kinmel on December 18, 2020, 08:57:27 pm
On 28th December 2020, all of Wales will enter Covid Alert Level 4 until further notice.

The supporting legislation states that although parks and playgrounds are allowed to remain open for outdoor exercise, you should only attend parks with members of your household or support bubble and must not arrange to meet with other households.

Therefore during any period that Conwy County Borough is classed as Alert Level 4, Colwyn Bay Model Boat Club must be closed.

We will advise you when the Alert Level changes and it permits the club to re-open.

Our old pond is derelict now, the council sold the land and office blocks off to developers who can't find a buyer.  We are now 100 metres away in the main park, which is not suitable for regattas etc.

shame, the old pond was my favourite location, a beautiful little lake, so sad that's its now derelict, we had a caravan in Pensarn, and I watched my sons grow up around that lake as we frequented it all the time, then up to the swimming baths cafe for a cheap lunch
