Hi going to build a Denny steam gunboat in 1/32 scale. Going to buy the hull from Deans (55"L) and scale up the drawings from Sarik. Would have loved to get the bigger hull from Fleetscale but alas havent the room for such a big beast. Question, what type of motors would be suitable for this hull ie 540s etc. Many thanks

My preference depending on prop size

Interesting scale, i have both a 1/24 and 1/48 steam gun boats and use mfa 850's in the bigger boat and i think 400 size in the little one.
I would opt for the 700 motors good all round motor for the money and will suit your needs :-))
