Title: Proxxon WP/E Angle Polisher
Post by: DJW on January 12, 2021, 05:55:15 pm
Hi All

I'm using one of these to cut back polyurethane varnish my Aquarama, fine (600 to 1000 grit) wet and dry (used wet) and then the foam pads with some Farcela G10 Fine Compound.  Really pleased with the results so far.

Wondered whether anyone else is using one..?

I've been a but surprised with the abrasive discs, they attach with velcro directly to the very rigid backplate, I've made up a foam spacer to make the abrasive action a shade less harsh.

That's the 50mm backing plate shown, I have the 30mm version too, helps to get into tight corners.

Very impressed with the polisher so far.

Best regards
David.
