Title: Fireboat Monitor
Post by: Barney Magrew on February 04, 2021, 12:09:29 pm
Can anyone tell me the best place to get the G Code for 1/25th. scale accessories, particularly a Fireboat Monitor; doesn't need to be a working model.  I've tried the normal sites but there's just too much to trawl through and I'm not sure I'm going to find what i want anyway.Thank you

Can you download .gcode files?  I'm a printer myself, usually it's .stl or similar and you slice and apply settings yourself.  Not sure how a pre-sliced .gcode file would work -how would it know your settings for your own machine and filament? They can vary between two printers and filament the same? Perhaps I'm wrong on that, I would want to out my own printer settings on the file.

Don't know much about the "inner workings" but I download files all the time from Yeggo or Thingiverse.  Load them up, slice them and away you go.  No problem.
