Title: Pacific Buccaneer - Marine Modelling International
Post by: Stuart Davidson on February 23, 2021, 09:37:57 pm
Hi Folks,
I am in the process of preparing to build a scaled model of the Rig Supply Vessel 'Pacific Buccaneer, by James A Pottinger, drawn and distributed via the Marine Modeling International Magazine dated Jan & March 2001.
I have seen comments by Mr Pottinger in an article within this forum, stating he has many photos of the Pacific Buccaneer, taken when he was gathering data for the drawings; does any one know if they are available for viewing anywhere?
I have seen photos on the web, but need to see different shots if possible.
As an alternative, does anyone know how to contact Mr Pottinger?
Hope someone can assist, it would be much appreciated.

I think that Jim Pottinger is now in retirement in the Shetland Isles and no longer active in modelling.
