Title: Joysway Discovery 2 - Boat or keel wanted

Hi,
I have been enjoying sailing a couple of Joysway Discovery MK2 Yachts with my children.
I want to get a 3rd one so we can all race together.
I have managed to find another one BUT it has the older style silver keel which is lighter and far less effective.
As a result it is no match for the other 2 boats that have the newer, heavier white keel.
I therefore seek a white keel to buy or a complete yacht to buy.
If anyone has one of these lying around, complete or in bits then please contact me so we can discuss.

Try www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk (http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk) they stock Joysway spares they may what you want, look for Joysway spares in the column on the left.

Hi Joe,
Many thanks for your helpful suggestion. I have checked the website and sadly it does not offer Spares for the discovery - it has various other Joysway Yachts but not mine  :((
However you have given me an idea - perhaps my keel is the same as the keel from another Joysway model - so I have emailed them to ask that question.

Thanks for the info.I tried to call them but it goes to voicemail so I have emailed them with all the details.
I also have called round a number of model shops all over the country, and spoken to the company that was the UK distributor for the Joysway range - and drawn a blank with them all.
I have to hope that someone, somewhere may have an old one of these boats or knows someone that does, perhaps broken and collecting dust in a loft or shed or something.

CMB will probably get back to you eventually, they are an excellent company but dealing with huge demand and less staff at this time.
