Title: Graupner /Seuth smoke generator

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the oil level should look like on the Graupner/Seuth 6volt smoke generator. It is difficult to see the level in the funnel. Should it be just below the small outlet pipe or must it be well below the pipe?
