The two halves of HMS Glasgow brought together for the first time. Hope that super glue is of sufficient strength.

No, bolts are better, then they can stick an extra bit in the middle when they find out it's not long enough to carry all the armament required in the future! (Basically what the Mk 1 Type 42 destroyer  needed).
