Hello
I am interested to learn the type of motorised dinghy and inflatable motorised dinghies that were used aboard these boats. Only today did I learn that the dinghies were motorised because there was originally fitted some stowages for jettison of petrol cans.
I am building in 1:24, although my plan is in 1:48.
So does anyone know of or have images of these dinghies or from where they have bought good models or such to adapt.
Further, what have other modellers done re the Bofor 40/L60 on mk7 mount. I have seen a mk9 example in 1:24 but have yet to comprehend the difference(s) between them in order to know whether one could get away with a Mk9 or adopt to suit easily.
Has anyone an image of the hydraulic crane used to lift these dinghies?

Regarding the dinghies- try Mac’s Mouldings- I believe they did a 1/24 scale Gemini RIB which may match your model.

Thank you Nick , I will look them up.
