Italeri do a 1/35 scale range of various MTB designs such as the Vosper 71ft MTB, Elco or Higgins 80ft MTB, and German S-Boat. They are easy to convert to radio control and have removable decks held in place with screws. Good detail and plenty of opportunities to convert.

Lindberg do a 1/32 PT-109 model that is designed for motorising - some versions of the kit don't come with the motor.     It's not the most accurate of models but it's big enough to do whatever you need.    It's significantly bigger than the Italeri 1/35 scale so it's got much more displacement making fitting out dead simple.      The actual plastic of the kit is less fragile than the Italeri kits so it's more robust.

I'd put proper motors and propshafts in it - the kit ones are a bit rubbish.
My second one had twin 540 brushed motors with 4mm shafts and brass rudders - twin ESC with a mixer function.     The model has a huge hatch in the top for internal access. - it's a doddle to get on the water.

Yes, Lindberg PT-109 is a very good runner on the water except some details. O0
