For all of the Fairy afficionadoes here a video report on the new Supermarine Spearfish 32.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht597X_p_fUIt appears that these have a hull made from an original Fairy mould.

Overall, I think they have produced another nice boat and a modern interpretation of a classic brand that I have much love for.
There are a couple bits of design that I am not 100% sure about, but that's just personal preference.

£370,000 including the bling. Wonder what an "L" version would cost, rather than the Ghia?

Is there an alternate construction to "Hand built"?   :o

What a lovely looker except for the roof wing thing.

Another build for Chris ???

I will have one with twin Ford Mustang motors and no coffee machine.

What an absolutely stunning powerboat  :-))

Even our Tony H would have to be tempted to make one of these non-Fairey (but very close) Supermarine produced beauties - it could be the Spitfire of the seas!

It makes you proud to know this is a British made boat (with a little help from those two Audi 4.2 litre based Mercury deisel engines of course).

Maybe RR could be tempted to produce a suitable engine for powerboats that could be used in the future to make this a British made power boat with British made engines - and if they could make it sound like a Merlin too - this really would be the Spitfire of the seas!

Sorry Bob,
Not tempted atall. As a day boat, which is what it's built for according to the spiel, it's stunning in the same way as a Riva BUT I don't build Riva's!
