Title: Hi everyone new member here.

I am new to boat building but have always wanted to try my hand at it.I was browsing some classified adverts few weeks ago and I came across someone
who was giving his model motorboat away due to lack of time.So I gave him a ring and he just let me have it..Result.lol
The boat came with:
2 IC engines
Exhaust Pipe
Rudder
Fuel tank
Starter
Remote control
And a few other bits.Not having any idea what I am doing I put it aside and looked for a good forum, like thisone, to learn all about small engines and remote controls before I start to mess about withthe boat.I have a small shed well equipped & am a bit of a novice carpenter also like to do a bit ofwood turning, I have a spindle lathe and a small lathe for pens and other bits.
Sorry this was a bit long for a hello but I wanted to say a bit about me and what brought me to your forum.

Thanks for the welcome.I think I need to read up on the engines, they look in good condition
but I have no idea on how to test them.I will take some pics and post them along with images of the boat, thinkmembers on here will know what model it is as it looks like a kit form.
Well  back to reading the posts on the forum, it is packed with information.
