Anyone on here use llyn padarn, llanbedr lake ?


If so, which part do you sail from and what time do you usually meet up please ?

When I was last there most people were using the part nearest the car park, sail around the side to the nearby little river.
Don't go to the centre of the lake as its very deep and I know of 4 model boats on the bottom (even the local diving club couldn't find them  :(( )

Hi they used to sail from the slipway next to the swings on a sunday any time form 9ish onwards Stav hasnt been up for years so he doesnt know if they still sail there.....if it is a rough day they go down to the lagoons and sail there as it is sheltered.

Mobile from tomorrow so can collect new battery from component shop soon. Then is check over the Leander sea rider and Avanti and the lake for some relaxation

Not Lanbedr, Llanberis. Sundays 1000 on slipway by kiddies swings. Adjacent to car park. Toilets over the road. I haven’t been for a good few years. It’s a club of old timers with no rules, for peeps that hate club’s bull shine.  Only dosh  required is for car park. Crystal clear water. Diving club in quarry across other side of lake. Donation to air ambulance if they rescue a boat. Watch out for mooring ropes of nearby hire rowing boats.
