Post by: SteveG17 on March 30, 2022, 09:35:05 pm
I'm refurbing a Sea Queen, Have added chine rails but now having problems with spray rails. Have no saws to cut square strip in half to get triangular strip, what do you suggest ? Is triangular strip available anywhere ?

thanks for help in advance.

StevenG17........a 12" steel rule, an older fashioned Stanley knife and a kitchen Teflon cutting board + a sharp HB pencil

If you are right-handed, apply pressure via thumb & fingers of the left hand  over the ruler & slowly score the first pencil line & check [left-handed just reverse]

When confirmed as OK continue slowly cutting until the cut is made :-))

You can apply more pressure with the larger body of the old style Stanley knife, over the smaller body and so less wobble or possibility of snapping the segmented blade
