Hi John, Scratchbuilt except for some small armourments and the aircraft, 2 years work. she,s built at 1/96 scale, and is 7ft - 7 inches long. O0

its shows how deceptive photos are i would have never guessed she was that long never the less she certainly sit well on the water. john

I've read reports that the North Carolina and Washington were in fact better ships than the succeeding South Dakota class which tried a bit too hard to achieve the same battleworthiness on a shorter hull.
