I happened across this website of live harbor cams. I thought some of you old seadogs might be interested.

I like the Solent Area Live Ship Positions.
Shows, what type of vessel (by colour), name (hover on shape) , plus detailed info on vessel, journey, position, (Click on shape)
and is updated every 60 secs.

Thanks for both of the sites - it should be possible to work them in conjunction. In theory I should be able to spot something of interest and have plenty of time to jump in the car and nip down to see it  O0

Promise, I will try, but I admit that every time I see something invariably is not the time I have the camera  :( Must try harder
