Title: Micro Magic around the UK
Post by: mike javelin on December 05, 2007, 12:49:12 am
Things have gone pretty well in the first Year of the UK Micro Magic Class.

However they could be a lot better as  we've just carried out some research and it appears that the Association has only captured around a third of the boats sold in the UK this year and there are a lot of owners of Micro Magics that do not realise that the Association exists, or at least if they do then they feel we are not offering anything they want.

It's a bit of a chicken and egg scenario.
We are not there just for racing although I admit a lot of the talk on the forum is racing dominated.
However there is a lot of information, photos, instruction and help available to help you build, tune and sail your boat.

At recent events a number of people just came down to sail and look at the other boats and the more the merrier.

We have a location map where all our members can see who is sailing and where,
at  www.magicmicro.org/e107_plugins/google_maps/google_maps.php

If you bump into a Micro Magic sailor then please let them know the Association exists at
