The Holyhead Breakwater Park Model Boat Club, meets at the old Breakwater Quarry on Sunday's 14.00 until about 15.30, also on a Wednesday at the same times. The club has a variety of vessels ranging from yachts to a very sprightly container vessel, as is usually the case IC engines are not permitted.
The Club also meets on the third Tuesday each month at the Coastguard headquarters on Newry Beach, it would be nice to meet new people to see what they have and a chance to say hello.
All the best and hope to see you, Andrew. O0

Stavros I suggested that on Sunday, if there is a good crowd this weekend I will suggest it again as I think it a good idea meet new people and see new things.
All the best, Andy. O0

From 5777 miles away I will hazard a few guesses.

Pete's cafe,
Takout from Pete's
Pastie from Spar. ;)

Got it in one - mostly Sarnies - then eaten at the picnic table 10 ft away from the slipway. ( If you don't like to bring your own or get takeouts, there are two cafes less than five minutes walk away)

Much sadness on my part :(
I am home in Suffolk with a sprained ankle so I cant even lift the batteries for the tug let alone the tug so sailing is OFF the agenda much to the delight of the spanner >>:-(
I'll not be getting to the lake then >:(

The reason I asked was Pete's is only cross the road, and the food is rather nice. :)
