The Graupner 700BB turbo brushed motor has always been a firm favourite on 12 cells. A 9.6v version would probably suit this boat best.

Could'nt agree more with Neil,
the Graupner 700BB Turbo on 14.4v goes real well. The motor (700BB) that I'm using a lot has done some good hours now, and seems as strong as when it was new. O0
