Title: A step in the dark and something new

Hello,

 On my workbench at the moment is a 1/48 HMS Bulldog, almost finished.

To one side is a AsTec GTM Hydro, for me a step in the dark, I have got quite a way down the building line,thanks to Allan at AsTec,who has been very patient with my endless query's, but he has a business to run, and I wondered if there is anyone out there who has made a GTM Hydro, who can tell me a little about the final finishing and running.
I have never built anything so small, let alone fast, it's a fabulous little boat, and I am really enjoying the build, just need a little advice.

I built a GTM Snark2 hydro and ran it in 7 cells using a Graupner 480 Race motor and a Graupner 29mm plastic prop. It went like stink!!!
COG needs to be well forward in the hull with the balance point just behind the sponsons. A good rudder and turn fin is required to make it turn well. I added some plates and filler to the underside of the hull to sharpen the edges of the running surfaces.
