Post by: Helderluiss on January 04, 2008, 10:31:41 am
Hi

This is another project in my bench intended to some minor improvements such as to include bow truster similar to the recent modifications on some Tenders, working lights, working crane, motor cooling water, rotating radar, sound, smoke and another things that I will think in the progress.

A very nicely engineered job.  Apart from cooling water what are all those other hull penetrations for?

Thanks for the comments

The cooling water for the engine and other components is made in more than one hole. What you see in that picture is the representation of what I saw in few pictures on the internet. There is usually more than one hole for the exhaust of water and entry displaced in the hull and for what I have been seen is location may vary with the type of boat and is utility.

Re: Water cooling outlets.

Are they going to be connected up to pumps for visual effect?

Hi Martin

Yes, that is the intention.

Similar to the this other model that I finish recently, the Dumas Brooklyn that can be seen here:

If you see close, in some footages of the videos it can be seen some water going out.
