Title: Acrylic paint

Hi Guys.
            I got a fairwind 900 for xmas and want to brighten it up just a touch.On this point has anyone ever used the Home Base pots of acrylic paint and would it be advisable to give it an under coat of Halfords grey plastic primer which i did with my other build or stickentirely with the Halfords paint.

There are a couple of big threads on paints here.

General message seems to be, stick with one  brand. Even some acrylics seem not to be compatible with others.
