This is the RT80 Rotor Tug
Powered by Graupner schotchels driven by MFA 800 motors
Length 980mm
Beam 300
Draft 180mm
Scale 1/32
Now all I have got to do is learn how to drive it ::)
Any hints?

Nice looking tug - can you give us a little more info? Not familiar with the model.
Have the Graupner Voith drives - it does take a bit of time to operate these.

She is scratch built, with a GRP hull that was made using blue builders foam to make the plug. I got some GA drawings of the web from the builders web site plus lots of pictures from them I drew up some plans and bashed out a fairly ok hull.
The upperworks are all plastic card, the crane is made from odds and sods so is the Rib.
The winches are both made from plastic card but I want to replace then with some from MMM when I get some spare cash.
I am using my Christmas pressy (Futaba 2.4ghz 6 ch set) to control it (sort of).
Having just given it a short half hour on the water, I realise I have a lot to learn. Driving forwards on the rear motor it acts very much like my other tugs, but when using all three turning seems to be a matter of moving sideways at speed. Going to be fun with a tow. {-)
