Iis there any chance of stating Motor /  prop - manufacturer so people can get a comparison as the hull will not be that critical as the boat is stationary

not done a propper bollard pull but Brakengarth likes to pull most things that are on the pond  ;D .
The next big tow will be the new harbour  :embarrassed: .

?????? Does anyone know how 'Bollard pull' is measured in the real full scale world???? If so is there any way that some thing scaled down in the similar could be standardised and made for all of us tuggies???? Then we could have a level playing field of comparisons especially if hull, motor, battery combo is listed with results???
Just an idea
Regards to all

hmm interesting there are a lot of things to concider especialy water depth and tow line length also the anchorage point ,ie not near a wall well not 90 deg to the wall
also where do you get a Dynamometer rated for models . What abut one of those retractable clothes lines as a pull  or maybe we could convert a tow to work like they do with tractor pulling over a distance  .
just a thought .
