Title: lights
Post by: botchit on March 10, 2008, 06:39:12 pm
I posted a question the other day which Barriew quickly sorted for me but in my hurry i forgot to ask . What sequence/colours  are the mast lights working top of mast to bottom for running. I'm using the  method described on the forum for making them with electrical joints and i know somewhere there is a thread on the various settings used  but i'm blowed if i can find it again.
Regards as ever Botchit.
I wouldn't mind but where i work they pass by at about 20 feet off the embankment :embarrassed: :embarrassed:

You may need to be a bit clearer.
First what type of vessel
Tug = top all round white =anchor
Tug = forward white masthead 1
Tug = forward white masthead 2
Tug = forward white masthead 3
Tug = Red (top) white (center) Red (bottom) = NUC normally to one side of mast showing light all round
Tug = amber = rear = towing
Tug = rear = stern white
There are several variants as I said depending on type of vessel (inc length) type of masts etc

Hello Richard.
             It is a small harbour tug the Dickie type ive altered mast, deck fittings and electrics. I just want to tweak it a bit more with running lights on a pole mast i done emerging from the broad frame type on the Dickie.
Cheers for the list B
