Title: Weight Distribution
Post by: BreezyB on April 01, 2008, 06:32:58 pm
I am about to intall the radio bits into a 24" ABS Yacht Hull. I have arranged the 2 Servos, TX and Battery Pack into a slim "in line" plastic tray which sits very nicely in the bottom of the hull.
With the hull empty in the bath it floats with the deck level but with the radio tray assembly in position the attitude is slightly stern heavy, which I understand is best.
However, because I can move the weight forwards or backwards, I am not sure at what position I should finally fix the tray.
Is there a "Rule of Thumb" which applies to yacht trim?. Any advice would be most welcome.  :-\
Many thanks
Barrie.
