Footski and DBS88 thanks very much  :-)

I've got a little more done and this time it's the ships 2 beds.  One of for the Master of the ship and the other for the Master Gunner who was on board when Le Rochefort was loaded with her cargo of gunpowder.

I made the cupboard door and lower part of the bed recess in the same way that I made the cabin doors

The I made the cupboard walls and the base of the beds.  Finally I made the hinges and door handles to finish the parts off.

Fitting the parts was the hardest part trying to get a good a fit up against the hull as possible

So I just need to make the hatch surround, fit the beams and make the carlings and the quarterdeck will be finished  :-))

Cheers Mark

 Ok so why (2) ?

I got to 95% of my original build (https://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,52373.0.html ) when my ex clumsy 5 stone dog fell off the bed and onto the boat (my fault it was on the floor). I spent 5 years trying to contact Calderfcaft (Jotika) trying to order the parts needed, but with every email going un-answered I bided my time till the right model/kit cam up on fleabay for the cost of what the parts would probably cost!!. In the end I got a complete kit (missing plans and destructions, no problem, got these).

So looks like I've got the chance to start again (will not host the pics on PB site).

New Fleabay purchase
