Are these still desirable things? A deceased estate has provided me with 2 transmitters and Receivers (Futaba and Acoms), however I am unaware if these are still of use, unless it would be for submarines…
Advice would be gratefully received

Hi I have so many 27Mhtz and 40 Mhtz AM and FM that I still use my ones all the time. There is no problem over using them, hardly any clashes over frequencies either.

Hi again most of the 40Mhtz 2 ch. sets are AM. Can you see from the crystal whether it says AM or FM?
