Well another great day at the Woodvale Rally, weather help out on Sunday when I was able to attend Courtesy of the SouthPort Model Boats club , Thanks
Only 1 of the Vulcan's was flying while I was there with the addition of a Handley Page Victor which I have not seen before , and IMHO I think that they are the best planes for me in the show (the others were very nice) I just like that design as well as the Lancaster's though..
The marquee provided for Southport club and guests was full as usual of superb models and a constant flow of visitors, and an most importantly tea and coffee making facilities.
As usual there was a small pond at the front of the tent which despite there being an Aerokits Fire boat constantly wetting the kids and adults (They actually stood and waited to get sprayed !!)
A couple of models caught my eye straight away , 1 being the Model of the Semi Scale Police Launch " Bobby" by V.E.Smeed & Lou Jefferys from the free plan in the July 1977 edition of Model Boats, and also then Right next to that were 2 smaller versions made from plasticard.
Another model was what looked like a complete Bismark from the partworks, Come on Martin you need to start that one up again.
Anyway here are some pictures I took, I add a link to all the others later on.
