i am finishing a 1/24th scale lighterage tug and it has an open wheel house so i need a 2 inch (over the spokes) 8 spoke wheel now without having to go to the faff of building one from scratch so does anyone know if there are any fittings companies that sell such a beast?
thanks in advance folks

I'm sorry, but Reade Models can't help with a wheel of the size that you're looking for.

Our own P-23 Large Ship's Wheel is 35mm across the spokes - (a tad under 1.5 inches)

Thanks Malc.
i bought one years ago made of plastic and i wished i had got a few now. hindsight is a wonderful thing! might pop one off an old model and try some latex casting ... then resin.. then a soggy mess!

hi. lighterman,

just a thought, you could try metcalf mouldings, I think the wheel on the anne letitia russel might be what you are looking for.
