Its quite amazing where you can have a bit of luck, and pick up some very nice 3mm birch faced plywood with lovely longitudinal grain........
And all a free bee......just what I needed for my next classic lifeboat build later this year.
Walked into our doctors this morning to make my yearly appointment for my diabetic check up and on the way out saw a nice gent putting it all up against a wall. Cheekily I asked him if it was gash to requirements, and he said........"yes I'll help you to the car with it as it would only go in the skip"......it was the equivolent of a full 8 x 4 sheet, and £43 quids worth at our local timber yard.........it pays to be cheeky now and then lol.
the pooch is extra.
