hi there Russ

Just been re-reading the instructions that I posted on the Forum, I dont think they are very clear, due to the fact; the actual instructions come on a piece of paper about 4 x 6 and the writing on them is literally tiny.   It is for the Robbe sound module number 8276.

As you look at the module, there should be: one red terminal block on the circuit board which is your positive and negative battery supply;  if you flip the circuit board over, you will see a positive and negative sign on the back, next to the terminal block.    Your speaker connections are at the opposite end of the circuit board and if you flip it over, it should have 1SP2 on the back; and this indicates your speaker connection.

There is a third terminal block on the left hand side of the circuit board, that is when you have the red terminal block at the top.  This looks as though it is connected in parallel to your main motor supply; now, reading the instructions - THROUGH MAGNIFYING GLASS  8) It states:  avoid short circuit at the loud speaker output at all costs - when operating the module with a 12 volt supply, we recommend the use of the Robbe Loud Speaker 80 - order number 8075.

Under that it says - Please also note that no more than two modules should be operated simultaneously, if the system wiring is used for the loud speaker.

On the bottom of the page, it has operating voltage 6-12 volt.  Current consumption 100-200 mA - loudspeaker 40HM - order number 8075/8076 and then it tells you its only 28 g in weight and then just gives the dimensions.

Hope this is of some help, if not, or you need any more just give a shout.

John,

Sorry to trouble you, but could you have another look at the instruction with your Robbe 8276 for me please? Do they give any clue what each of the four adjusters, or trim pots, actually alters? Apparently one is for volume, but I don't know which one, and don't have a clue what the other three change.

Thanks,

Geoff
