Know what you mean about the sea. Even I as a non- seagoer missed the south Devon coast since I left there 50 years ago!
I loved to sit on the rocks all alone and watch the movement of the water, in all weathers.
My family has instructions that after I am dead and cremated my ashes are to be scattered on the rocks at Revellstoke, South Devon. If anyone knows it, there is a deserted, ruined church there "St. Peter the Poor Fisherman". Nothing to do with religion, just an ideal spot which so featured in my childhood. I have a photograph of the place on my notice board above my desk. Morbid, moi?
Maybe a good and interesting topic there: "What to do with my ashes"!
