That sounds very interesting Phil would like to see that. i don't think i'll have this ready for the mayhem weekend i'd need to buy motor esc propshaft etc. mr brown has put pay to that kind of expenditure at the moment but i'm sure i can find enough wood and bits to do the hull and superstructure.

35mm film plastic canister with pin-holes and two AlkaSeltzer tabs should do it.

On the 'other' site, there was a list of suggestions... take your pick... or go your own way..  :o

The Aircraft Carrier Springer.
The Police Springer (For those football matches that get out of hand)
The Paddlewheel Springer.. both side wheeler and rear wheeler.
The Sailing Springer.. someone has to try it!..
The Trireme Springer.
The Steam Springer... (there are rumours of this currently being produced in Scotland)
The Junk Springer
The Cruise Liner Springer
The Fishing Boat Springer
The Ironclad Springer
The F1 Springer....
The Warship Springer (been done... but there are other possibilities)
The Torpedo Boat Springer
The Barrel Back Springer
The Airboat Springer..
