That's the one Barry, thanks.

I've spent what seems like ages sanding and filling the inner bulwarks, but I now have it to my liking, more or less.
The first coats of primer have been applied and what a difference it makes, when it stops raining I will add more.
The motor house sky lights are coming nicely.
I bought a Draper tressel for the cradle to sit on, it wasn't high enough so I made a 'spacer' cradle for the cradle to sit on, it's now a nice height to work on the model.

regards
Gary :)

She's looking good Gary. I've been doing a bit of painting (not very proficiently) and you can see from the attachment that I have re-set the forestay bracket, as per my previous thoughts. I have to get a deal of painting done before winter, as I can't paint in the house and of course the deep freeze keeps painting at bay for a number of months later in the year.

In case you don't go back there, I have added a source for stanchions etc on your other thread.

Hi Kaskazi
Thanks for the thread.  I think you got it right regarding the 'shorter' forestay, I'll do mine the same height too.
How did you get on with the portholes?  (the inner and outer were too large for the thickness of the hull I think)
I'll be making a float chamber for her tomorrow.
Your model is looking good too.

regards
Gary :)

Oh yes - I filed them down, which was quite easy.

Float chamber? What's that?

So how's the Felling coming on Gary? I have done little since last post for reasons best not discussed here - and that little has been messed up by poor paint job.
