The only person I know of that is selling a Type 212 sub kit , apart from Robbe , was Steve Neil ( owner of Subpirates site ) who has passed the masters over to Dave Merriman

On the marketare several manufacturers, who are producing Type 212 sub as a kit, with out passing master over David Merriman, because they are living in Europe, not in Virginia. Check IGU Austria, they are producing 3 different hulls. You can purchase whole Type212 included RC, price is around 2200 eur

Well from Atomic Subs a Subdriver 2.5 (TM Dave Merriman ) for the Steve Neil designed 212 would be $435 ( thats the Caswell Inc Price and would be bundled with a full resin and white metal fittings kit ) and at a guess the hull and full fittings kit roughly another $500 so for $1000 ( including shipping )/685euro's/514 for a super detailed fully static diving 1/96th scale model , I know I would prefer the Steve Neil designed sub over the Robbe kit mainly due to the big difference in price and the Subdriver which can be moved between models unlike the Robbe dry hull system.

I am sure, it is big difference in the price, I purchased my hull for 250 Eur. Made of epoxy resin, not polyester, included paint job, what is done directly to the moulds. If I will buy sub from USA, it is plus 200 dollars for shipping.
