Me again. Asking for help with any model boat builders reference photos of "Society Adventure" before she was renamed "Hanseatic?"
Small photos attached to jog memories ;D

Seeing as she was sold and renamed before being delivered by the builders I doubt very much whether you will find any photos of her as Society Adventurerer .

I cannot imagine you cruising Bryan! It would be like a busman's holiday and you would be sooooooo tempted to take over.

Appreciate the humour...and would like to see the operation...but really I would just like to lie back knowing that competence rules and let them get on with it. Absolutely no desire to revisit the blood sweat and tears period of my life. But the "solitude" of the sea still pulls a bit.

Know what you mean about the sea. Even I as a non- seagoer missed the south Devon coast since I left there 50 years ago!

I loved to sit on the rocks all alone and watch the movement of the water, in all weathers.

My family has instructions that after I am dead and cremated my ashes are to be scattered on the rocks at Revellstoke, South Devon. If anyone knows it, there is a deserted, ruined church there "St. Peter the Poor Fisherman". Nothing to do with religion, just an ideal spot which so featured in my childhood. I have a photograph of the place on my notice board above my desk. Morbid, moi?

Maybe a good and interesting topic there: "What to do with my ashes"!

Ashes - you can have them added to an artificial reef being built off the Florida coast. Its called Atalantis (how original). Don't know the cost though.
