Stevenage Scale and scale ish regatta
All welcome.
9am-11am - I.C. boats, as normal
11am onwards until about 4-5 ish - Electrics. As far as I am aware, fast electrics in limited number are also allowed (we had one last year)
All electric and steam boats welcome.
We have the nice gentle breeze and sunshine all day on order, as it is forcasted
There shall be a rescue boat service, and refreshments are available in the cafe
Stevenage lake is off junction 7 of the A1, go towards the town on the A602, at the second roundabout, go left into monkswood way, then right at the next roundabout, follow this road until you see a grassy hill to your left and a large field to the right. Take the next left. there is a large sign to the left of the road saying fairlands valley park. follow this road right the way down until there is a building, carry straight on past it, weaving around at the bottom. The 'parkies' ask that you put your hazards on here. there is a black and white stripey gate with a Y junction after it, take the right towards another building, then left between the fence and the building. you can unload your boats here and we shall show you where to park.
