anyone built deans marine "China Class"

Has anyone built one of Deans marine's new "China Class" warships preferably the sovremenny class destroyer. Thinking about getting one at some point, and just wondering how good/bad they are

Try a search on this forum, several have already commented, and opinions seem to differ wildly. Some say they are OK, others that they are complete rubbish, so maybe the truth lies somewhere in between. I suspect that a poster's opinion of the man selling the kits may colour their judgement a little, but I've seen one of the hulls and if the rest of the kit is similar quality, I'd have to place my own opinion some way towards the 'rubbish' end. Have a look at one before commiting to any significant outlay would be my advice.

Hi...

Me again... check out Wolfgang's site at http://www.scaleboats.co.uk/ He has built a China Class and the build is documented on that site - finished model looks brilliant though not cheap!

He has also commented on these models on this forum - see 'Dean's Marine China Class' thread (see link) - under the user name of 'scheich' I think.
