Hi,

Here is something hopefully to make you smile or shout about. Normally I build hovercraft. However after seeing so great pictures of members Springers, I got thinking one of these would be ideal to recover my hovercraft should it stop mid pond. Anything is better than sending the wife paddling.

I thefore constructed this weird and wonderful thing.  Originally it was painted grey with a green deck. However at it' first outing at Setley pond someone made a comment that it looked like Del Boys van. We all had a laugh and agreed it actually did. I therefore went home and repainted it and added the appropriate logo. The pictures show the end result.

It is intended to bring a little humour into our hobby. It also has a serious side. I did an exercise where I successfully recovered my hovercraft. I have also recovered two other craft so the idea works.

Hope you can also laugh at it.

Amazing Pete, plonker is about right, you do know the props and rudder should be at the other end.  :-\

Steering competition at Setley tomorrow bring it along, should confuse the judges to see it going backwards around the course.   {-)
