OK the website seems to have changed its feel dramitically.
Maybe as a result of a comment made on this webstie (bad smell thread) about his website changing.

It looks like the same people. If you can tell why then do not say so on here. As it will make it easier for him to change things and harder for us to warn other.

Hmmm, the old RC Hobby/GPI Models web site is still up & running but with a logo change from GPI Models to Global-Anthem, but the RCH name is still plastered all over the place.

In contacts it simply says the 'RC Hobby web site has had a change of owners watch this site shortly for updates' and they have removed the trading address.

I notice the new web site still has the same evasive email us only with no phone contact number, for a company that supposidly deals with TV/advertising companies its appears most odd.

On the surface it looks like the same old company under yet another name change in trying to sell models but with an additional twist of the bespoke build line to give the business kudos.

Might pop by the trading address sometime when am up that way to check em out!

There was a trading adress on this thread before, it might be worth checking to see if it is the same one. If it is you can save yurself some leg work/petrol. Coz they ain't there.

The previous shop ad was 4 Market Ave in Hudds 1 but they vanished from there back in March as someone paid them a visit to chase goods.

Whats the bet the new location is the one listed on the Global  page which also happens to be under the new trading title?

Hello Kmot,

A bit late in the day I know, but the UK laws regarding photography copyright are all-encompassing and they exist to protect the photographer and his or her intellectual property. You as the owner of the model boat photos (with your copyright mark on them) have sole ownership of them and the right to decide how they are used and WHO uses them. The financial penalties for infringements of the copyright are severe. The problem (usually) is proving that an unauthorised person or organisation has used the photos without your permission, and conversely, the offending person or organisation has to prove that they have not used them without seeking your permission first. In your case it seems blatently obvious that your photos have been used without permission, as the copyright/watermark is clear to see on the website where they are located. I would say that it would be worth contacting a solicitor about this.

Has anyone contacted the "repair service" - it would be interesting to see what address the model to  be repaired should be sent to.
